About Delaware Imagery Bench
Delaware Imagery Bench is a free viewer that makes the State of Delaware's public aerial imagery easy to search, compare and download.
The State publishes an outstanding archive of aerial photography through FirstMap, the Delaware Geospatial Data Exchange: 15 sets from 1926 to 2024. It is powerful but hard to use if you just want to see your street in 1954. This tool puts every year on one map with address and parcel search, side-by-side comparison, and full-resolution downloads.
Where the data comes from
- Aerial imagery: State of Delaware FirstMap (credits for each year are on the year pages).
- Parcels: Delaware statewide parcel layer (FirstMap).
- Address search: Esri World Geocoder, with OpenStreetMap Nominatim as a fallback. Base map and labels: Esri.
