Compare Delaware Aerial Photos by Year: Swipe, Fade & Flip-Book
The fastest way to understand how a place changed is to put two years on top of each other. The viewer has three ways to do it.
Swipe
Click one year (amber, A) and shift-click or right-click another (cyan, B), then choose Swipe or press 2. Drag the round handle left and right to slide between them. This works best for buildings, roads and shorelines.
Fade
Press 3 for Fade and use the slider to blend the two years. This works best for subtle changes like tree cover, field edges and drainage.
Flip-book
Press Space to step through every year in order. Each one stays up until it loads, so you see a clean sequence from 1926 to 2024.
Year sheet
Set an area, then click Year sheet to download one image with every year that covers it, labeled and side by side. It's easy to print or share.
